Dümmen Orange’s Bluez+ awarded as Biggest Champion at Proflora 2021

Dümmen Orange’s Bluez+ awarded as Biggest Champion at Proflora 2021

Together with our growers we took home the major awards at the Proflora 2021 varieties competition in Bogotá, Colombia. Our long standing customer Vuelven SAS won no less than three awards for the Bluez+ standard rose. In addition, seven other Dümmen Orange varieties received awards, underlining the quality of our offer.

Bluez+ is a beautiful bicolor standard rose, with a deep dark pink on the edges and a soft light pink on the inside. With Bluez+, Vuelven SAS won awards for Biggest Champion and Growers Champion, and First Place in the Standard Rose category.

Other Dümmen Orange varieties were also successful. Grower Yasa won first and second place in the Disbud Cut Mum category with Maisy and Andrea.

Claudio Otero and Cristina Duque from Yasa together with Juan Camilo Hoyos KAM at Dümmen Orange.

Plazoleta Bazzani won second place with our filler Lady Alba. Colibri Flowers won with the mini carnations Phantom and Mocha Sweet, and Flores El Capiro with the Cut Chrysanthemum Mia.

In the breeder category, we won with the bicolor standard rose Summerfield, from Jan Spek Rozen.
