Preparing for Carnation Open House 2021 in Colombia

Our team in Colombia has started preparing for our Carnation Open House 2021 in week 9 at La Gaitana Farms, near Bogotá. Currently they are planting carnation cuttings at our experimental station. Our Carnation Open House 2021 runs parallel to the national Carnation Week during which all carnation breeders in Colombia show their assortment for promotion among important buyers in the USA, Europe and Japan.

At the farm we run a continuous product development process. So next to the Open House we will be evaluating 436 new codes and varieties and also present the assortment and trials of our Dianthus barbatus series called Barberatus.
